I once read that the technology we are just now learning to use is archaic. What is being R&D'd right now is fifty years or more advanced than what is on the market. Imaginge what WE have seen come about in just 20 to 40 years. It is my belief, based on a cacaphony of bits of information from an immeasurable number of sources, that our technological advances have reached an exponential growth rate. If this is the case, what will be discovered within the next decade will put us hundreds, if not thousands of years ahead of what we utilize right now. MAJOR medical breakthroughs are happening almost weekly, especially in genetic research, they have now built nano cars and nano engines, a new chip has been announced that mimics the electro-chemical neuroprocessing of the human brain...the list goes on. I wonder how soon it will be before knowledge can be simply downloaded into our minds.
